Waters Edge Project
About this project
We were tasked with creating cabinetry for several rooms in this home. We needed to brighten the spaces and add uniformity and flow to the overall layout.
The kitchen and dining room are thoughtfully designed in a cohesive shaker style, combining elegance and functionality with every detail. The kitchen boasts a pristine white painted lacquer finish, creating a bright and airy atmosphere, while the rich, warm tones of a cherry wood island become the focal point. The island is adorned with unique, custom-curved columns that add a touch of sophistication and artistry to the space. Above, glass-fronted upper cabinet doors provide a glimpse of carefully arranged dishware, offering both beauty and practicality.
The cabinetry throughout the kitchen features dovetail drawers, ensuring durability and smooth operation, while complementing the shaker aesthetic with clean lines and understated elegance. The seamless transition from the kitchen to the dining room is enhanced by the design’s continuity, where the cherry island and cabinetry blend harmoniously with the rest of the home.
In the dining room, a custom cherry bench seat flanks each side of a cozy coffee bar, offering ample seating and a warm, inviting feel. This thoughtful touch creates a space perfect for intimate gatherings or casual dining. The mudroom, equipped with custom cabinetry and closet storage, provides both organization and style. A cherry bench seat in this space mirrors the aesthetic found in the kitchen and dining room, maintaining consistency across the home. The cabinetry in the mudroom, like that throughout the rest of the home, is meticulously crafted to match, ensuring that the design feels unified from room to room.
In every area, the craftsmanship of the cherry wood complements the refined white lacquer finish, creating a timeless and elegant atmosphere that flows seamlessly throughout the entire space. Each room is a testament to the quality of custom design, where function meets beauty in perfect harmony.
