This project consists of a main circulation desk and maple shelving for the newly built Essex County Library-Leamington Branch. This custom public library circulation desk combines innovative design with exceptional craftsmanship, creating a functional and visually striking centerpiece for the library. 

Its elegant elliptical shape promotes a welcoming and fluid interaction with patrons, while the plained sliced maple veneer, finished with a clear lacquer, highlights the natural beauty and warmth of the wood. The smooth quartz countertops offer a durable, contemporary surface, perfect for high-traffic areas. Dovetail drawers, known for their strength and precision, provide seamless storage solutions. Advanced bent lamination techniques are used to create the gracefully curved panels, adding both elegance and structural integrity to the design. Stainless steel kickplates add a modern touch while ensuring durability and ease of maintenance. Custom storage solutions are thoughtfully integrated, maximizing functionality and keeping the space organized. Designed with ADA compliance in mind, the desk ensures accessibility and convenience for all users. This circulation desk seamlessly blends aesthetic appeal, advanced techniques, and practicality to meet the needs of a modern library.

We also outfitted the library with classic custom shelving, crafted from solid maple wood for durability and natural beauty. The shelving unit is finished with a clear lacquer that enhances the wood’s rich grain and provides a smooth, polished surface. Each shelf is adjustable, allowing for flexibility in storing books of various sizes. With its expansive design, this shelving system holds an entire library book collection, ensuring that every volume, from large coffee table books to slender paperbacks, is neatly organized and easily accessible.
